I guess the coaches had to make a tough decision and decide whether they wanted Morris/Finley Jr. or Leary back for next season and went with the young bloods? Can't imagine Beck leaving has that much to do with it since Leary wasn't recruited by him

Wish him well, but he wasn't exactly killing it before the injury, writing was on the wall that he was going to have to fight to get his spot back and the deck was stacked against him due to his eligibilty.

I’m cool with the Anae hire. Don’t know a ton about him but Brenan Armstrong was night and day better with him than he was without him. He had some prolific offenses at uva.

The general consensus I've heard is that he is a great OC like 90% of the time, but once in a while has a baffling decision in the worst of places, like this play

Which the whipped out for the first time all year in a crucial moment against rival VT. Never could've worked in a million years.

Overall though, I'm looking forward to more of a Drinkwitz-style system. No idea what it's officially called, but it's pretty much an air-raid style offense with slightly more emphasis on the ground. I think you could call that Power Raid?

Anae is famous for developing dual-threat QBs (read, MJ Morris, imo), though apparently part of that development was from now-Cuse OC Jason Beck, who co-OCd with Anae last year

That sucks with Durden gone

I think the Garrison move most likely leads to a reshuffling of duties among the assistants and we end up hiring a new RB coach rather than a new OL coach, with Anae coaching OL and Roper going back to QB coach.

Jykeveous Hibbler -- a big JuCo DLine commit -- committed, should help replace Josh Harris I suppose. He was more of an end that a NT, so either one of the current ends is shifting to NT or he's gonna be doing some learning. We'll see

Well usually opt outs are guys who are going to be early draft picks. That's not Wilson.
