Between all the defections, this year's bust recruiting class, and whiffing on incoming freshman th.

outlook is awfully bleak for our basketball program.

Going to rely on major improvement from cat, lacey, and anya to even make the tournament next year


my guess is we don't but I think we have a decent shot the following season

Syracuse, UVa and Louisville will see MAJOR drop offs this year but Clemson and FSU could jump us.

I'm still hopeful for a top half next season but we do need a grad transfer in the backcourt bad..

I think you mean outside the top 75, they have "25 who barely missed" at the bottom. But there's a lot of coaches who are probably "better" on that list so I'd guess he's not on there.. Unless they just like him for working there

Gott deserves more credit than he's been given. Sure the program has its flaws (i.e. defense) but the dude inherits a team and takes them to 3 straight NCAAT appearances after not having been for 6 years? come on now

i'm starting to think if we had beaten kansas in 2012 it would have propelled gott into the top 25 easily.

Another Gott supporter using Lowes complete I'm competence as some sort of a measure for gotta success.

On the 50 to 25 list they have another 20 coaches that "just missed the top 50" Gott isn't even on that list.

We are the only people that think Gott is a decent co
ach. Sure he has talent but damn. He took over one of the most tale Ted teams and lost in the first round. Lowe could recruit and we know how bad he was. You don't get points for recruiting when you suck at the basics.

Until we take a successful coach from another school then we will be in the shadow. I have no idea why yow hired a failed basketball coach.

Don't say coaches won't come here either. Many top 50 coaches were begging to come here.
