^My brother works on the boat & at the camp where that was found. Haven't had a chance to talk with him about it or why he's not in the pic [/bragging]

That's what I thought. But he's been unplugged for a few days which usually means he's at sea. Though his boss, Captain Waddington gave an interview, so that seem's unlikely.
Either way, if he shares any high-res photos of that with me I'll post them here.

My detective skills lead me to believe that he could be 1 out of four people that are present but not pictured in that photo.

Just realized that's his boat in the background. So it's very likely he's either one of those shadows or getting drunk in LA while on break.

Just got a text from him. He was on duty and had to remain on the boat. Though, if you can get a high res version and zoom in then you can see him.

No pics either, he didn't get a chance to go ashore before sailing out again. The camp on Catalina where this was found and the boat are 2 different programs, but since they are owned by the same company, a lot of the staff go back and forth between the two from season to season. Apparently all of his best friends were at the camp when it was found and several are in the photo.

His only consolation was that a few summers ago he caught an oar fish, though it was a juvenile and only 7 inches long. They threw it back.

The video they shot of the thing is here: http://youtu.be/Zv2bfMABIJw

Official: Forged documents used in prison break from Fla. prison

(CNN) -- A statewide review was ordered Thursday of Florida's prison records to determine whether anyone has filed forged documents like the ones used in an elaborate escape.
Charles Walker and Joseph Jenkins, both 34, are considered "escapees" by authorities after investigators discovered forged motions to reduce their respective sentences and forged court orders granting the request, according to authorities.
A "vigorous and thorough review" will be conducted of other such prison releases to ensure no others have been freed with falsified documents, Department of Corrections Secretary Michael Crews said.
Both motions bore the forged signatures of the Orlando-area state attorney or the assistant state attorney, according to a statement released on behalf of Ninth Circuit State Attorney Jeffrey L. Ashton.
The judge's order granting the release of Jenkins and Walker bore the forged signature of Judge Belvin Perry, who gained national attention while presiding over the Casey Anthony trial . Ashton served as the case's chief prosecutor.
The orders to release the two inmates were both filed with the Orange County Clerk's office, Ashton said. The documents, which contained the county seal among its markings, appeared legitimate, he said.
Ashton, meanwhile, ordered a review of records in an e-maill to his prosecutors to determine whether anyone else filed "similar forged documents or other suspicious activity."
Walker and Jenkins, both serving life without the possibility of parole sentences for murder, were released from the Franklin Correctional Institution in the Panhandle community of Carrabelle, Crews said.
Jenkins went free on September 27, and Walker was released on October 8, authorities said.
It is unclear whether the two men -- both former residents of Orlando -- knew each other, and the Orange County Sheriff's Office worries that at least one of them may have returned to the area.
Law enforcement learned of the prison escapes on Tuesday after a family member of Jenkins' victim contacted the State Attorney's Office to ask about the convict's release, Ashton said in the statement.
"They committed violent crimes," Orange County Sheriff's Capt. Angelo Nieves told CNN. "The best thing for them to do is to turn themselves in."
The discovery of the forgeries comes as Florida is prosecuting another inmate, Jeffrey Forbes, for an allegedly similar scheme.
Forbes is accused of forgery and attempted escape after a police detective who initially helped convict the man discovered he was due to be released despite being sentenced to life in prison for the attempted first degree murder of a law enforcement officer, according to Ashton's statement.
The investigation revealed someone had forged Ashton's name on a bogus court order reducing the sentence and a circuit court judge's name on the order reducing Forbes' life sentence, the statement said.
"It is now clear that the use of forged court documents to obtain release from prison is an ongoing threat which all law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, court clerks and prison officials must address and stop," it said.

Hanged for 12 minutes, death certificate signed, taken to morgue, found alive the NEXT DAY at morgue. Lucky dude!

But will be hanged again. Unlucky dude.

His crime: possession of a kg of crystal meth. According to the law, more than 30 g of any illegal drug means mandatory execution.

Solving the Rubik's Cube blindfolded... I didn't even think such a thing would be possible for the human brain.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCyYPimImyM

How does the brain keep track of all the pieces with them shifting and moving around all the time?

Its a simple set of combo moves that as long as you know your starting point, its actually super easy to solve. It's really not impressive.

^^Its super easy. And yes, I've done it. I may not be as fast as those guys, but my biggest hindrance is that my rubix cube is the original one and really worn down. As long as you know your starting point, it's just remembering the combo moves in order and its about 40 movements. The hard part is keeping your spacial orientation when doing the movements since you have to flip it about a few times to do the movements on the opposite sides.

But really, its just muscle memory. It's not like they actually created the algorithm themselves; its practically almost 30 years old.

yes I have. Maybe a minute, never really officially timed myself. Seriously, google it. The steps to do it isn't complicated. It's like practicing a dance move.

Oh I forgot, I am on TWW, where the average SAT score is like 1450, nearly everybody knows how to solve the Rubik's cube, and half can do it blindflded.

Quote :
"The ONLY thing you ever do when solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded is move a certain piece to a certain spot, do a certain algorithm, and then move that piece back to its original spot. The only problem is, you do that about thirty times (sometimes even more) each time you solve the cube blindfolded, and you need to memorize all of thirty of them before you close your eyes."
Quote :
"The hardest part of solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded is not actually turning the pieces on the cube. It’s not doing the setup moves, or the algorithms, or the inverses of the setup moves. That part is easy. The hard part is remembering the pattern consisting of about 35 numbers, and if you forget even one number, you won’t successfully solve the cube blindfolded."

All memory experts up in here. Solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded is so easy for the majority of TWW'ers that they don't even want to bother with it... baby stuff.

Next thing you know, I will post about some child solving a 7x7x7 cube, and a quarter of users will say it is so easy they did could have done it in KG, but of course, why bother with baby stuff!
