I just have the first one set up to display my lockinfo screen which looks like this:


and then the second one I have set to the flashlight. I tried out a few of the other ones, but I just never ended up using any of them.

ok, i didn't know if cydget was offering any functionality that lockinfo didn't. sucks lockinfo went paid, but its too good to switch to something else

Well Cydget is just a framework that lets you use the home button to switch between different widgets. They have a widget that IS lockinfo. So it's not really an either/or situation. It also works with Intelliscreen and that other one I can't think of the name of.

And as with everything else on the iPhone, paying for lockinfo is optional if you know where to look.

yeah, i know about the lockinfo widget, i just didn't know if there were any other widgets worth installing cydget for.

I'd feel guilty for stealing lockinfo though, its so good.

I mean, at the very least, I would recommend it for the addition of the flashlight widget. There are tons of widgets to try out, maybe you'll end up liking one. For a while, I had the facebook one up and a twitter one, but I found that I was still just unlocking the phone and running the normal apps instead of using the widgets.

^it only syncs the facebook profiles with the contacts that already exist in your phone...it will not add new contacts for you.

Does it have an intelligent way of knowing who is who? For example, I have a contact for myself set up in my phone, but also have Facebook friends with the same name. I'm wondering how that's going to work if I hit the "Sync" button.

I have no idea. It found all the profiles for all my immediate family members with the same last name...but I don't have any FB friends with the same first/last name

It also found some contacts that I don't have stored phone numbers for and just first/last name + email.

I think its just based off of name and not name + contact info?

you have to have an email address to sign up for FB. It makes sense that it would search all contact info. The same thing occurred with my old BB Storm and my current HTC Eris.

did anyone else have any wifi issues when they jailbroke their iphone? When I try to sign into the NCSU network and get prompted for my login and password on the nomad site it loads the site then skips the site while I am keying in my login and password and redirects me to whatever website I was attempting to view on the 3G network.

So has google still not worked out all the kinks for push? My push still doesn't work quite right. I don't get emails until an hour after i receive them sometimes. The funny thing is i can go to "all mail" under my push account and they show up, but don't show up within the inbox which is supposed to be push. Can't figure it out.
