Every time I've tried to place a call over the past 3 days, the call has failed the first time I've tried it.

First Winston, then Charlotte, then Winston, now Raleigh. I'm using the "Mark The Spot" app like it's going out of style.

yep

who NEEDS unlimited minutes anymore...especially with rollover/in network free/mobile to mobile/favorite 5/etc crap they have.

doesn't make sense to compare the plans that most people don't need.


not only that, but it's apples to oranges with the different levels of service between the different providers.

ha yeah. I think I use about 30 anytime minutes on my plan and a couple hundred mobile to mobile. Hell my parents use about 100 of the 900 anytime minutes on their family plan and about 3000 for mobile to mobile/friends and family

happened to me, went away after a restore. I left it alone for a while but it's been fine after I jailbroke it again last week to get multiple exchange accounts.

Push still isn't working right for me. I haven't gotten the last 4 emails since like 1pm. Sometimes it'll work and sometimes it'll take half a day for the emails to go through. Any suggestions on what to do? Is my gmail account just on a crappy google server?

I traveled back to Raleigh from Egypt last week, total trip time was about 24 hours. Battery remaining was about 20% when I got home. The phone was on the entire time (airplane mode on the plane, back on service for layovers). I was listening to music during take off/landing and then watching movies for most of the 12 hour flight and 2 hour flight to Raleigh from JFK. I was also texting and surfing the web at my layover.

I watched a total of 4 top gear episodes, Earth (90 min runtime i think), Night at the Museum 2 (90 min runtime i think there as well), Star Trek....and some random tv shows. I don't think you should worry about a car ride.

Also, I didn't have my phone plugged into my laptop either.

^the trick is don't think of it as a cell phone, think of it as a tiny laptop. Turn off the features you aren't going to be using when you know you won't be able to charge your phone for an extended period of time.

If you're travelling some things i would suggest turning off are:

Bluetooth
Wifi
notification services (push alerts etc)
if you aren't surfing the web, turn off 3G
turn off push and fetch to manual
turn down the brightness if your environment allows.

I just want them to fix the freakin' auto-correct spell check thingy. I find it exceptionally valuable as I am an atrocious speller but damn it's frustrating when it always switches "as" to "A's" and "me" to "mr". wtf

I played it. It's almost exactly the same as the DS version which I've already played so I didn't play it for too long (or pay for it) but if you've never played the DS version, it's surely worth picking up. Especially since it's 1/3rd the price for the same game.
