You guys seriously are saying that a NIT bid beats a low-level bowl? Schools will DECLINE NIT bids at times.

The amount of teams doesn't matter. There are 120 1-A football teams and 340 1-A basketball teams so?

^The same situation happens in football too. A team that wins the Sun Belt (North Texas, Troy, etc. gets automatic bid).

I'm not sure why this is such a big issue at the moment. If you put aside whether you want Sid to stay or gone for a minute; what worthwhile coach could we actually get? people have unrealistic expectations as far as coaches go. Our last coaching search we got rejected several times before we settled on one. I don't see how we could be doing better at this point. At least Sid seems to be recruiting pretty well regardless of performance.

I requested this be bumped because I saw we had 25 turnovers against a midmajor. Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled with a 20 point win against anybody, but we better get things turned around real quick anything less than 5-11 ACC is unacceptable this year. We need some W's.

Do you people even think about what you are writing before you put it down? A down year for Duke/UNC = a starting lineup/bench full of five star recruits. It takes time to build a program especially when you are attempting to completely change the style that is played (This goes for football and basketball).

wow. half those turnovers were phantom offensive fouls because the refs were terrible. there should be a requirement that you have to do more than look at a boxscore to request a topic bump (unless its fucking charita j stubbs, where the hell is that bump at?)

yea we were awful yesterday, the only positive things i can say about that game are that Vandenberg looks pretty good for a 7 foot freshman and that Painter might be useful by the end of the year. Oh, and that we didn't completely choke away a lead like the UNO game. Other than that it was ugly. BUT WE STILL WON. "We need some Ws" wtf. Do you want us to be 4 and negative 1 right now?
