I do hope that's the lineup but I don't expect it. I've been happy with JK's lineup selection so far, but with so many possibilities for this lineup I really don't know what I expect him to do. I guess my biggest hope is that we don't see Wondo up top with Dempsey.

^certainly an incredible shot by Messi, but Guzan moved too close to center when Messi kicked the ball, even though the wall was set up to cover the right half. He should have been in the center left and gotten a hand on that ball at least.

Maybe, but that you just don't see keepers making saves on perfectly placed upper 90 shots. He may have hesitated on the dive slightly but even so it would have been a goddamn incredible save if he got a hand on it. Definitely not a "fuck Guzan" goal. More like a "fuck wondo" goal.

Wondo was bad, Zusi didn't add anything, Dempsey was non existent. I knew we would really miss wood as he is our only hold up striker. Bradley is always too slow against the better competition.

Bradley has done that in every big game.

We were supposed to lose that game but the way everything went down gives me no hope in the future.

What happened to developing for the future. Why not make sure the young guys play as much as possible especially when they seem to be the only ones who can actually possess the ball.

Howard saves the first goal btw. No one saves the 2nd and howard hangs on to the 3rd.

We always play like this but this time was a team that makes you pay and no keeper to erase mistakes
The belgium game would have been 10-1 with guzan who is good but nothing special.

Our midfield was non-existent because we were missing Bedoya (a big-time workhorse this tourney) and Jermaine Jones. I don't know that it's anything to freak out about and frankly I'd be inclined to give Bradley a pass this game given that his passing options included Zusi, Beckerman and Wondo. Really disappointed that Klinnsman didn't give some of our youth a shot to start and play against top-notch competition.

Guzan just looked off, looks like he at least had time to put his hands up on that first goal but he just watched it go over his head. And Bradley did look pretty awful. What was the time of possessiosn? It seems that Argentina controlled it the vast, vast majority.

Still cant understand why JK went conservative with the lineup when he talked all week about going after them and we had nothing to lose. It was the perfect chance to play Nagbe and Pulisic and push up the field.
