well based on his first season and his recruiting, he is credible. whether or not he can get his players (not herb's) to play is still yet to be seen. this year's team is still weak, but the real test will come after one or two more seasons after he's had some time to formulate his own style team and work out some kinks.

Fells and Grant weren't elite ballhandlers (and usually scorers) by any means. And no offense to Hodge but I remember when he said he and Bethel were the #1 backcourt in the country... yeah...
