i think players and coaches need to take it upon themselves to change it too, it's already difficult for refs to tell the difference between a dive and foul. the problem right now is that too many people are doing it and players are probably thinking, "if they're doing it, we might as well do it".

steklenberg was shit on that goal, he took a step the wrong way before the goal. most goalies would save a shot right at them. he was caught leaning. it was poor defending but he still should've saved it.

also, holland has a guy named Josh John that plays striker for their u21 team, they should've called him up based on his cool name

that shot was heading to his right off his boot and there was no way he could tell it was bending to his left til after the ball passed the defender which he was screened by. i played goalie in high school and had this happen to me a few times. i praise my defenders in front of me but it can be a real big nuisance when they do this...unless youve played goalie, then you have no idea how fast you have to react to laser beams like that
