Yep. Had a couple of good games and quite a few shitty ones. I'm impatient and always run out and get shot. Especially on maps like Afghan, I think I need to switch classes from Ninja+Coldblooded+Silencer to something with longer range since there are like 2 chokepoints and no where to really LoS you way behind the enemy.

i did tac knife on USP last time. for my final prestiges, i'm going to go for the m9 - i like it more at close range tbh.

for p90 akimbos, i'd use marathon, stopping power, and steady aim. actually, i'd use ump akimbos personally but same perks.

Play hardcore. It's one shot one kill. You'll level up in no time. Thats what I did for my .44 tac knife.

if First Recon was a better handgun and had commando, i'd just use that


and my main use for commando is the 'no falling damage' ... ive never noticed a huge difference in melee distance

If you use the default class that has the .44 tac knife, you can run around stabbing people with it, and for each person you stab, you will get a .44 kill...so basically you use the tac knife in the default class, to unlock the tac knife for your custom classes

although like dweedle said, it'd be better if it was a USP or M9 and not the Magnum

I thought third person was interesting but I didn't get as much satisfaction at tricking and hunting people down as I do in first person. And that's the main reason I play the game.

Also, I couldn't get any headshots in third person.

I played third person for a good amount of time with some of my old SOCOM friends. they still play it religiously but it gets old because it doesn't use all the maps and it's only 4v4.

what?!?!?! Ive got over 1900 kills with my USP...two or three rounds close range is more than enough...and it shoots pretty damn fast if you pull the trigger right

^^yeah, you also have like 28,000 no scope headshots with each gun, per prestige

the rest of us arent as good

honestly what it comes down to though is many people either don't carry a handgun as a secondary weapon in the first place, or only use it once they run out of primary weapon ammo

although you generally stay alive longer than most other people, so it makes sense that you'd run out of primary weapon ammo, whereas most of us die before that happens
