i was looking forward to it but read its pretty much a port with slightly better graphics and a few new small things added...i just passed it over for now cause ports usually arent all that great but im dying to atleast try it...

according to what i have read, this is the best version on the godfather on all fronts, and even includes extra main story missions, and side missions (25 new total missions).

i downloaded the trial and i mean its doom but its not full screen, its only like half the width of a widescreen tv...4:3 just like the original version...i mean its doom, what else is there to say? im sure you could just find it for free on pc/dos...

without redoing everything how would they make those sprites hd? the draw is the multiplayers simplicity. you arent going to find many people dicking around playing doom on pc.

Its a blatant rip of an IP and should be enforced. Its not like Geometry Wars is only being offered at an unreasonable price... its like 4 damn dollars.

So has the WW2 shooter, the falling block puzzle game, 2d fighter, side-scrolling shooter, etc. Grid Wars took every single art aspect of Geometry Wars and copied it. Same shapes, same effects, same colors, same specific unit mechanics, etc. This is not like comparing Saint's Row to GTA... this is like having a puzzle game named Tedris with 7 different blocks that fall while Russian music plays in the background.

Actually MS gets a significant chunk of that because they provide the means to sell, the network connection, and the platform to play it on.

but if gridwars changed a few things was the focus of that sentence. they'll get hit with a cease and desist, change the pictures and then bizarre most likely cant do shit (because asteroids type games are FAR more simplistic than GTA or a WWII shooter).

it isnt going to fix their sales any if that is the only reason they are starting to whine.
