Nintendo's been trying to step away from the kiddy image for a long time. That's why the Resident Evil series was exclusive to the Gamecube (until 4 hit the PS2). Until a large percentage of their first-party games are adult-themed or at least not as bright and happy, it won't happen.

yea my friend's wife is an eb games manager and went to the conference...said she played the tennis game and she along with most everyone else enjoyed it. she also won nba 2k7 for the ps2 which i am trying to obtain since she nor her wife enjoy basketball games, but thats neither here nor there. they also gave her a psp.

also, yes it was extremely fun

I played Red Steel, Rayman, Tony Hawk, Madden and Wii Tennis. They were all really fun and I cannot wait for the system to come out.

In regards to responsiveness, I found it to be quite responsive and I did not encounter any problems as such. I was thoroughly impressed.

Also, Sony was completely unenthusiastic and utterly unimpressive.

I've got a question about the wiimote.

When you "swing it" to generate an action on screen, is the action instantaneous?

For example, as I "swing" the wiimote, will Link's sword swing AS I DO IT, or will there be a delay, ie. i swing the wiimote and after i'm done Link swings the sword.
