not in the english league, but relative enough...#2 play on sportscenter showed ronaldinho at his dribbling finest, unlucky to hit the crossbar though on the shot

He swung on Xabi Alonso.

You look in the dustbin for something to eat,

You find a dead rat and you think it's a treat,

In your Liverpool slums

In your Liverpool slums,

You shit on the carpet, you piss in the bath,

You finger your grandma, and think its a laugh,

In your Liverpool slums.

In your Liverpool slums,

You speak in an accent exceedingly rare,

You wear a pink tracksuit and have curly hair,

In your Liverpool slums.

In your Liverpool slums,

Your mum's on the game and your dad's in the nick,

You can't get a job 'cos you're too fucking thick,

In your Liverpool slums.

god damn that game was boring up until the end, though

I fell asleep during the first part of the second half, and woke up when Rooney was coming off because of that cut on his leg

I still dont really know what happened there

I don't think I've ever seen a meltdown like West Ham's against Tottenham...shit was awful. In case you missed it on FSC, here's the recap from ESPN. Two goals in the final minute + injury has got to feel like a kick in the nuts.

Tevez finally broke his duck, though.

West Ham never looked like staying up though, not from day 1.

Rumours flying around that Kaka wants out of AC Milan and Chelsea and Man U are set to fight it out over his signature this summer.

That'd be nasty...Kaka with Ronaldo and Rooney, they should never lose.

kaka is my favorite player and it would be very disappointing to see him go to either of those places...chelsea and madrid have been after him for quite some time though to no avail...he would be a much better fit with a team like arsenal

Arsenal probably couldn't afford him, to be honest.

I'd love to see him at Man U. They'd be pretty much unstoppable.

I doubt he'd go to Madrid, considering how Madrid is the new Inter Milan in terms of "where players go to die"

[Edited on March 4, 2007 at 2:07 PM. Reason : Madrid is a graveyard]

I don't think, after that stepover, drag, and quick shot that Ronaldo just laid on that he is the best player in the world right now

Both games at a 0-0 stalemate, but Sheva and SWP just put Chelsea up 2-0 in about a 5 min span

The Ronaldo one? Absolutely not. Woodgate got beat and fell on Ronnie's foot.

Not disagreeing with the penalty call, but Ronaldo definitely added a LOT more to the foul than what it was.

I dont see how you can say that. He got taken down while at full speed. I fall like that, too, when I get scythed down at full gallop.

It was a no-brainer, he was clipped from behind and I concur that the correct call was made, even if it was the only thing Ronaldo was looking for. He knew he wouldn't get a goal from that angle, but the likelihood of getting tackled from behind and getting awarded a PK was high - not only does he show signs of being the most talented player in the world, he's also one of the brightest

I have never fallen down the way he does, his entire body stiffens up and his toes point downward.

^ The other Ronaldo does that, too. If you watch either of them when they hop over tackles, they point their toes and hope to get clipped. It's gamesmanship of Rod Brind'Amour-like proportion.
