No.

Think about it.

A FG would only make it a 6-point lead. Akron could still take the lead with a TD.

At that point we had them on their heels and their offense hadn't done anything in the second half. I think ESPN2 showed they had -3 yards.

So based on how play was going, even if we got stopped, their offense was pinned on their goalline down 3 with 7 minutes to play.

I might have done a different play call than an option, but going for it was correct IMO.

Now we're losing.
