Man do i love a walk off!!! Stellar outing by hudson again, He does deserve some attention, because he is throwing the sickest stuff so far this year. Also this season has been dependent on the home run. We have lived and died by it. I would like to see some more consistant hitting, not just homeruns with two outs. There is no way we can keep that up all year long.

Maine has started 23 games with the Mets and his ERA is under 3.00 (and it's only that high b/c he pitched 2 games in April in which he was hurt early last year.. damn blister) and batter hits less than .200 against him. The guy is good and isn't a fluke. That's not to say he is going to have a better year than Hudson but he is damn good pitcher. You can't teach the late movement his fastball has.
