I don't drink often, so yeah. Haven't had alcohol since January. I don't miss it.
3/14/2007 1:08:33 PM
I'm trying to gain 50 lbs by July.I'm 6'1 175 And I want to be 225 or so.Maybe I should take some roids.

3/14/2007 1:58:57 PM
I quit drinking girl I never drank much in the first place, but I feel a lot better if I don't drink... I hate waking up the next day and feeling like poop anyways
3/14/2007 2:15:03 PM
Holy shit a medium banana has 105 calories?!
3/14/2007 3:05:22 PM
^Banana's are pretty fatty as fruits go. But banana calories =/= cookie calories.
3/14/2007 3:07:34 PM
Yeah, no wonder I stay full for a little bit after eating one.
3/14/2007 3:14:13 PM
i skipped the gym for almost 2 weeks (i have my reasons however, spring break and the week before it were HORRIBLE, i was actually in town for about 3 days)but on a good note, i stayed steady at 139......and i started back again yesterday, we'll see how this goes and i just ate a lot of sushi
3/14/2007 3:17:07 PM
Fish oil is good for you at least. But you'd have to eat a lot of sushi to reach those levels.
3/14/2007 3:33:21 PM
i think i might start eating more fish :-)
3/14/2007 3:34:20 PM
^I take fish oil supplements for other reasons, haven't really noticed a change though...
3/14/2007 3:35:34 PM
why do u take fish oil... I pretty much just heard good stuff about it.. can't remember what ho
3/14/2007 3:37:15 PM
For triglycerides. Damn genes.
3/14/2007 3:37:46 PM
Omega 3 fatty acids, good for skin and coat
3/14/2007 3:38:23 PM
most of the fish I eat is low in fat and omega 3s, so I supplement with fish oil. It's a shame that I don't like salmon as much as I like tuna, tilapia, and shrimp/scallops.
3/14/2007 3:41:42 PM
it helps lower cholesterol
3/14/2007 3:41:48 PM
Well I don't like fish but also the mercury content that's showing up has me concerned. I'll jsut take my supplement thanks.
3/14/2007 3:42:36 PM
the mercury levels are only problems in certain types of fish
3/14/2007 3:43:25 PM
Meh, well I only like shrimp.
3/14/2007 3:44:35 PM
just take fish oil pills twice a day
3/14/2007 3:44:47 PM
Is it best to take the multi vitamin in the morning or at night?I didn't know it was a twice a day deal for fish oil. I can feel the old age coming to me, soon it'll be ten pills to take a day.
3/14/2007 3:45:46 PM
When i worked at the vet, we recommended fish oil to cats :-)
3/14/2007 3:46:15 PM
i think you are supposed to take vitamins when you eat, so they can be absorbed better
3/14/2007 3:46:26 PM
haha We recommend it too, and we point it out in the dog foods. It has omega 3 fatty acids, good for skin and coat!!
3/14/2007 3:46:49 PM
For the fish oil I take one gelcap twice a day, if you take them all at once it can cause fishy breath.
3/14/2007 3:49:00 PM
which gym did you join Kiwi?
3/14/2007 3:49:09 PM
It's called the Rush and it's in Knoxville TN. I asked if they were anywhere else and they said they're considering moving to NC.http://www.therush247.comI love it.
3/14/2007 3:50:41 PM
I dont get why you people have such a hard time losing weight. My problem is, eventually I stop caring and gain weight back...but losing weight has always been easy for me.
3/14/2007 5:19:09 PM
For anyone who can commit to a workout regime but is struggling with their diet I highly recommend "You on a diet"A lot better than I expected but I've always been the person who wants to understand the HOW and WHY before fixing a problem. I just love fucking researching things in general, SDHEEIT
3/15/2007 1:29:39 PM
the fat content of a banana is less than one half of one percent
3/15/2007 1:33:12 PM
Bananas have anti oxidants which are anti inflammatory to help with digestion. They also help satiate you.I eat them for breakfast but I'm picky, I only like them when they're still sorta green, the minute it starts browning the taste becomes awful good for nothing.I need to buy some nuts.
3/15/2007 1:35:29 PM
I am really proud of myself....I did the elliptical for 70 minutes last night on the second highest resis...How many calories do you think that burns and on avg how far am I going? My elliptical is a little weird about the stats but I got it for hella cheap so I am not complaining.
3/15/2007 1:53:44 PM
Well I do manual settings. If you do level 12 for an hour it says you burn roughly 940 calories.I only do the elliptical for thirty minutes, increasing every few minutes to get my heartrate up, then I switch to the bike or some other equipment for fifteen more. 45 mins to an hour at the gym 6 days a week is good.In this book 13 hours or more of exercising can damage your joints, so be careful! Be sure to do resistance training too as the muscle growth will burn more calories throughout the day than cardio alone!I just wanna spew what I've learned recently. Anyway, good job and keep up the good work!!
3/15/2007 1:57:44 PM
Oh I do it on level 7 out of 8...My boyfriend said I got rid of probably 250 calories... I dunno. That's a big range.Damn this website says 872 as an estimationhttp://www.healthstatus.com/cbc.html http://ezinearticles.com/?Calories-Burned-On-An-Elliptical-Trainer&id=51323[Edited on March 15, 2007 at 2:03 PM. I've gone from 180 a few weeks ago down to 169 today just by being more active and not drinking soda or eating candy.
3/15/2007 2:06:17 PM
Good job! I'm gonna weigh myself tonight to see what's been happening. I'm wearing some old jeans that were waaaaaaaay too tight when I started this. Couldn't button or even zip, had me gasping for air.Now they're loose in the leg and only slight flab hanging over it. Still a little tight but a noticeable difference.Hay guys anyone know what an omentum is?!

Your mother may be ginormous or a multitude of reasons or you may not have inherited whatever bad genes she has (it takes two, remember.) It's obvious you don't have a shitty metabolism. You post about how you don't work out and you still drink several times a week yet you have lost a lot of weight in the last few months. Like I said...you should be thankful.
3/15/2007 3:01:14 PM
Or maybe he just doesn't eat as much as some of you meatbeasts.
3/15/2007 3:04:21 PM
I'm sure that's it.
3/15/2007 3:06:05 PM
I eat plenty, but i dont eat sugar, oils, butter, most dairy, meat, and little fat. I eat a low cal, high fiber, high protein diet. I also try to eat things that speed up metabolism such as hot tea and spicy foods.
3/15/2007 5:21:37 PM
I ordered some diet pills the other day, Hydroxycut Hardcore. I know that most ppl say that diet pills are dangerous (blah blah blah) but I was wondering if anyone has any true postive experirences from taking diet pills, stories that you would be willing to share? I've researched diet pills, I know what the side effects are. I'm going to take them anyway but I just want to hear some positive stories... thanks.
3/15/2007 6:16:20 PM
diet pills are for weak minded people that have no discipline in their life. And from what Ive seen, the effect of them is slow going, and usually minimal, and if it does make a difference, you almost always gain it all back...or more.
3/15/2007 6:18:38 PM
diet pills that work are either illegal or misunderstood. I think hydroxycut hardcore contains yohimbe in it, which works well as long as you restrict your calorie AND carbohydrate intake sufficiently.the ECA stack works very well, although you have to make it yourself by buying separate ephedrine, caffeine, and aspirin pills. personally, I don't like the idea of taking aspirin in that stack, but it seems to be very popular.
3/15/2007 6:22:55 PM
3/15/2007 6:23:07 PM
you just need some good ol fashioned sexercise.
3/15/2007 6:24:27 PM
sexercise??...
3/15/2007 6:26:52 PM
it burns lots of calories, and works a lot of muscles.
