South Carolina wins 85-82. Devin Downey went up for a shot got smacked in the head and still made it. He hit the foul shot to go up by 3. CofC inbounded the ball with 2.0 seconds left but Bobby Cremins was trying to call a timeout before that. As a result they got the ball at half court with 0.8 seconds left and couldn't get a good shot off.

i didn't really see what the first one was. by rule i think if you get two technicals you are kicked out of the game. i know the one that got him thrown out was where he got called for a foul and he kind of made an angry gesture afterwards, perhaps he even said something. the refs probably could have just let it go, but i guess they wanted to show the players that they weren't going to let the game get out of control emotionally.

They really need a rule about stopping play for lost contacts. Hansborough does it every game and pretty much gives Carolina a free 30 second timeout. Now this Stephenson kid has learned the same trick.

I think if they have to stop play for you, then you should have to come out or your team loses a timeout.
