I wish Kelly was more proactive about feeding your fish...like I wish right after you buy your first fish, she is like "I'll be glad to feed those while you're away Commander Shepard"

But no...she waits until you forget to feed them for a day and have to scoop dead fish out, and then buy new ones, before she even considers offering to feed your fish

^^Nah, she just waits until after you've had dinner with her.

^If you fuck jack early, the relationship will end. You can then have a relationship as normal with Tali. And so long as you flirt with Kelly throughout the game, she'll show up in your cabin after you win if you dump your other romance.

I'm trying to get through a run on insanity with a paragon sentinel.

I've figured out two things after completing the first few recruitment missions.

1. Insanity is the best way to play.
2. This is hard as hell. I'm getting my ass kicked on Kasumi's loyalty mission.

Haha Kasumi's mission is by far the hardest loyalty mission they've come up with so far...though the Shadow Broker DLC challenging too

You can actually fuck all four of them. As stated above, you gotta fuck Jack the first chance you get (renegade choice). Then you gotta flirt with Miranda, Tali, and Kelly as normal. You fuck Kelly later but it doesn't show it... it just shows her yawning the next morning and alluding to it (but there is more on it later... I'll get to it). After that I pursued the regular romance with Miranda and it showed the sex scene. When Tali "confronted" me about it, I just continued with the neutral conversation options. After I beat the game, I went and told Miranda that I was done with her, then it let me do the romantic sub plot with Tali and bwn her. Finally, if you jump through the Omega Relay directly after your crew is kidnapped, you save Kelly before she dies on the Reaper ship. After the mission is over and you save the galaxy, she is back on the Normandy... if you flirted with her throughout the game, you'll find an email from her or something saying she wants to hang out. When you go up to your cabin she'll come up and do a strip tease for you in revealing clothing.

Never in my life did I think I would read such a thorough explanation of how to bang video game characters.

So I'm going to do an insanity play through plus some DLC. I've been reading this thread and see that to get people to survive you do their loyalty missions, but to save your crew members (Chambers or whatever) you have to immeditately go through the Relay. So. Is it one or the other? Is it possible to save both all squadmates and all crew members?

Yes to the last question. You have to do the loyalty missions before you get to a certain point in the main plot. Check out the ME wiki page.

Saving the Normandy Crew (NPCs) - This depends entirely on how quickly you decide to use the Omega 4 relay. If you want to save everyone, use it as soon as it is available. The relay opens exactly one mission after the IFF and its recommended you use that time for Legion's loyalty mission. Any time wasted on side missions or other loyalty quests at this point will result in loss of lives. Your final team makeup will have no effect on who survives. The NPCs don't matter for the achievement.

So do the loyalty stuff before the IFF.

Here is a great link.

This game rules (got it on the PS3). I was playing through as a Vanguard on Insanity mode. The hardest part was the derelict reaper ship so far but compared to harder videogames it ain't no thang. Miranda is the hottest videogame character ever created.

^^^Pretty much all you have to do is the loyalty missions as soon as they are available, then jump through the Omega 4 relay as soon as it is available. I know you've probably already looked it up but if not, you do have to make sure you choose the right people for specific jobs once you start the suicide mission.

I'm gonna replay the whole thing some time before ME3 comes out. I played it full paragon last time but I have a full renegade save game ready to go from ME1, so I'm gonna import that and try and kill as many people as I can at the end of ME2. You have to have at least one person alive at the end of ME2 right? To save you when you're jumping and you fall? For my renegade one I killed Wrex in the first ME1 and I just won't activate Legion or Grunt so it should be pretty interesting to see how it changes things in ME3.

yeah its as simple as this...you will be quite aware when the IFF mission is available...when it is, if you haven't done any of the character's loyalty missions, do them before the IFF mission...its really not that hard...I mean it would be quite difficult before there were FAQs for everything ie when the game first came out...but no excuses nowadays for letting ANYONE die on the final mission

ps: I beat Insanity on a Soldier class I think...a few missions have a few very tough checkpoints, but if you have enough patience to play all the way through a Mass Effect game, it shouldnt be anything more than a "damn that one mission took me 20 tries" type thing

In talking with Samara, it looks like Shepard is looking at her tits very frequently. His eyes flick down real quick every 4 seconds or so.

I don't think I'll ever beat the first Collector ship mission on insanity.

Importing a ~level 30 for an insanity play through made it much easier...and I don't have the drive to try a raw play through on insanity

Always hated that it forces you into the mission before you can load up on heavy weapon ammo.

There were only two parts that ever really, really gave me trouble (10++ frustrated reloads)

First one was where you're on a Collector ship and you have to fight floating head thing and random Collectors...I think it was the part after the fight that was tough for me. For some reason I was able to glitch through it, where I barely made it to a check point after the floating head and died, but when I respawned there were no enemies around.

The other really hard part was when your teammate is in the vents at the start of the final mission and you have to race to get to the heat exchangers before he dies. I ended up pushing too hard to get to the control panel and dying in cross fire. The last one I just did a Charge attack near the control and hit it, which started a cut scene of Shepard in battle

i did my due diligence (google) of which team members to use for each part of the mission, although you can figure most of them out on your own, and then just played the mission(s) over and over and over until I beat them

I do think I remember some kind of "checkpoint glitch" that ThePeter mentioned

Switched from the Revenant to the Heavy Rifle and breezed right through it. (The beginning part)
