does anyone know anything about recycles bike shop? orrrr any other place i can go for a bike tune up on the cheap? my bike hasn't been ridden in at least 4 years and i'd like to get it looked at by someone who knows what they are doing. but i'm not hardcore and neither is my bike so i'm not trying to get a $75 tune up. i mean if something is broken, then i'll figure that out but i dunno. its just looking pretty sad and old right now.

i probably need new tubes on my tires also.

I bought two bikes from Recycles back in January. The first was stolen

When you buy a used bike, you get a free tune-up (so I have two free tune-ups). I'm not sure if you can trick them into letting you use it on your bike, but you're welcome to one of them.

well its in the back of my car and i'm leaving it there until i find a place to take it so i don't really care where that happens to be

but whoever sees it is going to think i'm lame and gross cause its been sitting in a shed at my parents house for foreverrrrrrrr. so its kinda dusty. and smells sorta musty. i had to move like 5 pieces of scary lawn equipment to get it out cause it was so far back.

oh also i need a new helmet.

but i really think it probably needs new tubes so i'm down to buy those and a helmet from whoever looks at it for me!

yes i still need it AT LEAST tuned up. something could be actually broken and i'd have no idea though.

honestly don't judge me when you look at it. its been sitting in a toolshed at my parent's house for at least 4 years untouched. and its old anyway - i've had it since my 13th or 14th birthday haha. so its all kinds of dusty and musty.

but yea that would be awesome. i'm down with supplying the parts. but you'd totally have to tell me what i needed. i just want it to be ride-able. it doesn't have to look good - just work

Tumblebees is (pretty much) crap, but there aren't any better options. UNCG has an even crappier wall.

If you're in the area your best bet is to go to Pilot! I'm in Raleigh till Sunday, but next time you're in town I'll go climbing with you.

i didn't think to bring any of my gear with me because i didn't plan on climbing this weekend since i'd been feeling like ass. you should come with next time though. i still don't really have a lot of upper body strength but i've got pretty strong legs.

90% of climbing is with your legs and core anyways. Arms are really only needed to hold your body on.
