I mean UNC lost and players were frustrated. I am pretty sure Sterling probably said something either directed at the UNC player or not. It was not a fight and no one got hurt. However this is UNC and the UNC player did take a swing, so F*%K em. And Butch is a bitch for not just saying that a player was suspended. He had to say it was because of a NC State player.

the actual worst amount of bitching they all did (you can tell this is systemic-organizational) was complaining about the pass-interference calls and how that changed the tone of the game and the secondary could no longer play "aggressive". Everyone of those calls weren't even close; even that Owen Spencer touchdown he got a soft-horse-collar before he caught the ball. Hate those dudes...

Carolina played extremely dirty for a stretch there. I've got a friend that has a conspiracy theory that basically goes:

Year in, year out Carolina usually gets away with things like that. Even in CF. They were expecting to get away with it like they do every year but this time they didn't. They backed off once they realized the refs weren't going to allow it.

I think there's some truth in that. I can see any team attempting to gauge what the refs will and won't call and adjusting accordingly, but only up to a certain point.

A month or two ago I saw an article on ESPN about how home teams often have the advantage due to a referee bias. The very first thing that came to mind was how that definitely hasn't been the case for NCSU. It seems like all of the worst calls in NCSU football history have occurred in CF, but it's probably just me and my own conspiracy theory that I've cooked up over the years.
