they arent this good. both goals were united mistakes. the first being a mistake and lucky. scholes, carrick and fletcher have turned the ball over so many times. evra also did at least 3 times i remember too. this was one of the sloppiest passing games ive ever seen united play. bayern shouldve won 4 or 5 to 1...thats how i know they arent that great

im not gonna give them anything. SAF respected them too much and sat back and let them come at them. if all 3 of united CMs didnt have a shitty game losing the ball on their feet so many times than maybe i would congratulate bayern for doing something. as it is, united gifted them so many chances with careless playing/passing and just an all around lazy performance in the center of the park. very, very unlike them with the experience they have.

I didnt get to watch the game live, because I was working, but from the start it looked like United weren't controlling the midfield and weren't taking their chances like they should've been.

I do like when United loses. But I can also admit when they ball somebody up that they deserve some credit. I wouldn't have said anything about this game if JT hadn't been going on about how Bayern "aren't really that good" and it was all due to United basically handing them the game - that kind of shit irritates me. Especially when United was gifted their own goal themselves... because I'm sure if they took a 1-0 lead back to OT, we wouldn't be hearing about how lucky the goal was and how it was only a mistake in marking that let them off the hook and how United "really isn't that great."

^enough to make kiljadn cry this summer. i keep telling him rooney is going to breakdown before then. hes never played this many games the way he has (as in a lot of lone striker roles), and also never had to carry the goal scoring load so much before. plus he is due for an injury, i only hope its not serious and doesnt occur until late may and then heals in july
