wilson didn't do shit his first few starts...IIRC his first 2 1st games of seasons vs. USC were both pretty bad...w/ one when he got hurt...he didn't do anything spectacular, but no mistakes like glennon tonight.

We shouldn't compare Glennon to Wilson. It's totally unfair to him, and the reason people are making the comparisons is TOB's fault, not Glennon's. Glennon's a good player under a mediocre coach.

As the smart people said all off season, there will be no comparison between a year 1 player and a year 4 player. It's a silly notion to entertain.

When TOB made the decision he made, we all knew there would be a huge drop off at the position. The hope was that we would get better in other areas to make up for that drop off. We didn't. That's on the coach, not on Glennon.

I agree with what skok is saying about not comparing the two but to fend off the TOB loyalists, it must be done and when it is done its not jr glennon we are comparing to freshman wilson, its senior wilson vs jr and sr glennon because that was the tradeoff.

The argument was that showing up to all the practices made glennon the best choice so how can the same people turn around and use the "but it was his first time" exucse.
