Honestly, the number of times Wood got outright jobbed by the refs is fucking staggering.

I don't have any problem at all blaming this one on the refs. Yeah we had some issues. But the bad calls seemed to coincide awfully well with Indiana runs.

I still think Gottfried should have thrown his jacket or something, but I suppose our boys have to get used to playing through the bad calls if we're going to get anywhere against those damn blues in the conference.

Howell was absolutely horrible all night. Slow feet, missed wide open layup, missed free throws.

Painter wasn't a ton better, but he was better. He hit a couple jumpers, but overall that shot was off all night long. CJ played like puke down the stretch. Indiana just turned it up a notch with about 4 minutes to go, and we couldn't match it.

We're still a much better team. Sucks to lose a game like this, especially at home but no reason to get down about it. Howell and Williams were slow and sloppy tonight. A cheap flagarant call killed us late and we went cold from the free throw line.

We'll move on and continue to improve

jesus peoploe, we would have lost this game by 20+ last year, and not a decieving 20+ either. its a hard fought game we didnt close out but if you cant see that our team is light years ahead of last year then just stop watching. it sucks, but we'll get better and have lots of good wins this year.

he wasn't that hot with them tonight. i'm excited about his progress...but he missed like 4 in a row at one point.

and yeah, i couldn't howell stayed in as long as he did towards the end of the game. he was screwing up play after play after play and looked tired as hell.

overall i'm still excited about the direction of this team this year...but especially considering the calls, tonight was a tough one.

it is and it is going to be a long season for those who think we can beat good teams consistently. we will play well all season, have a minimum amount of bad losses and great wins but will do relatively well and not necessarily make the tournament. Thats just the reality. Bubble team in march.

Also, I hope Tyler Harris becomes a nice player for us in the future. But he is no where near ready yet. He probably played about 8 mins in the first half and was constantly getting burnt on D, making timid passes, and absolutely no threat to score. There has to be a better option when CJW is in foul trouble.

I feel like I at least like this kind of losing better. We had that shit and then the FT's, wide open dunks and fast breaks in the last 6 minutes killed us. Calls at the end didn't help either, Gottfried was pissed.

Yea I feel like it is going to take a while for the guys to learn how to win those games down the stretch. Even in the Texas game we tried to blow it but just had too big of a lead. It will just take some time. More patience for us.
