that was the worst game ive ever seen. We had no patience at the plate, we were just totally overmatched in nearly every at bat.

Not sure I'll bother tuning in for the CWS, that game was really boring. Thank god the UFC was great tonight to compensate for the hours i wasted watching baseball

Regional sites and national seeds are not given out solely on RPI. The ACC has hosted 5 regionals before, but usually it's 4 and those 4 are the top 4 seeds in the ACC Tourney.

Regional host sites will be announced today at 3:30 and the national seeds along with the full field will be announced tomorrow at noon.

No. A national seed and a regional host from the same conference cannot be paired with each other. Usually the super regionals are teams near each other. Our two super regionals have been against Miami and Georgia. I've seen us and South Carolina as a possible super.

^you could try the ticket offices of the other 3 teams picked for the Raleigh regional in hopes that they have no fans that give a crap but it looks like you have to buy the tickets for all four sessions ($60)....they will sell single session tickets ($15) the day of the games if there are any tickets left over but those will probaly be slim pickings any day State plays......I liked it a few years back when they had to host the regional in Wilson because Doak was being renovated, it was easy to get tickets for that

I'm not a fan of the best-of-three super regional format. I wish they did 2 double-elimination rounds and then best of three series for the final 4.

Right now it goes 64-16-8-2

^^good idea. I plan to buy a book, I didn't have any trouble in 2008. But I don't remember any restrictions at that time.

If we draw a team like ECU tickets will go fast. But I think ECU had to do well in the CUSA tourney to even make the NCAA.

^^^No, there is not ranking of hosts past #8. Not sure why our winner will be going to Gainsville (assuming UF wins) and not Columbia, SC.

Then again, ECU gets in as they have a member on the committee and WFU gets left at home. So, I don't try to make any sense of it.

As for our regional, Vandy is going to be very tough. They have been playing very well lately and were in the 2011 College WS. Shitty draw for State, but we did it to ourselves by playing like dogshit last weekend.

I assume State will throw Rondon in game 2 against a likely Vandy team. The 1st game matchup against Sacred Heart "should" be an easy W.

They will likely sell out for our games, but they will sell hill tickets if available. The key is to find fans of the other teams when we don't play them. i.e. find a Vandy/UNCW fan who has a book, but isn't going to our game vs Sacred Heart.
