the problem is that in college basketball basically every basket comes off of a mistake of some kind. most commentators choose to frame a successful basket as a good job of making the defensive player mess up, but dakich just points out where the guy fucked up. every single play.

to go back to Dakich, i didnt really mind all the "chin on the rim" stuff, but he just rubbed me the wrong way from the first minute of the first game when Wood missed an open 3 from about two feet behind the line and he was like "that is a bad shot" or something, as if one of the best outside shooters in the country shooting an open 3 is a bad shot
