I'm so happy that I bought a better camera just for this. The view from being on the floor was great, but it made for some even better pictures.

^^don't kid yourself, everything is pretty much made in China. Don't matter who you vote for in the 2012 election... 90+% of crap items will still be made there.
I mean do you really see a button factory being established in the US in the next 4 years with either of them? Kinda not a high priority.

"Opurtunidad" is the Spanish word for "opportunity". A latino is holding the sign, it's during the castro speech.

Nor would it even be desirable.
Let AAPL make money hand over fist in America, while the Chinese make a few bucks by efficiently doing the grunt work for them (enabling AAPL to make even more money).
Same thing with buttons...why in the hell would we even want to make Romney campaign buttons in America, let alone get upset that they're using buttons made in China.9/9/2012 3:02:07 PM |

This is fake. All Official romney/obama buttons are made in America.
Evidence 1:
Evidence 2: http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/13/politics/campaigns-american-made/index.html Campaigns proclaim hats, buttons and signs made in America - CNN.com
Evidence 3: It was a photoshopped stock photo from zazzle. You can see it quite plainly.

to be fair, PizzaBoy hasn't really shown that said buttons weren't made in China... The stock photos I saw at zazzle don't have "Made In China" in the pictures... Though, the reflection on the back buttons in the two pictures are remarkably similar

the hero worship of bill clinton these days is just another indicator of the sorry state of the democratic party.
not to say the republican party isnt also a sorry sack of shit,
...but come on.
just in case anybody fucking forgot:
Quote : | "Bill Clinton, 42nd President of the United States, was impeached by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. Two other impeachment articles, a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power, failed in the House. The charges arose from the Lewinsky scandal and the Paula Jones lawsuit.
Clinton was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. With a two-thirds majority required for conviction (i.e., 67 senators), 50 senators (out of 100) voted guilty on the obstruction charge and 45 on the perjury charge. The Senate was 17 votes short of removing Clinton from office on the former charge in the Senate.[1]
The voting in the House and Senate was largely partisan. In the House, only five Democratic Representatives voted to impeach. In the Senate, which had 55 Republican Senators, none of the Democratic Senators voted for conviction. It was only the second impeachment of a President in American history, the other being that of Andrew Johnson, who was also acquitted by the Senate, but by the margin of one vote. " |
...courtesy of wikipedia.
now, not to throw this fucking bone out there yet again, but can you imagine a republican with a similar record/reputation making a keynote speech that is vastly panned as breathtaking?
i seem to recall a little bit of outrage over condi rice's speech, you know, being a war criminal and all. thats fine with me! have at her!
but dont claim that bill clinton is liberaljesus walking again on earth, fucking pathetic.

^^^After the very public impeachment process, I don't think anybody is ever going to forget about ol' Bubba harassing the ladies and getting down in the oval office. And for a while it looked like he would never be able to speak politically again. But I, for one, am glad to have him back and pleased that folks agree he's done paying for his mistakes.
If Republicans have a big problem with infidelity, they probably shouldn't have embraced Clint Eastwood quite like they did.

I've seemed to notice that some republicans/conservatives that I know (and that I've been watching/reading on the news sites) view him somewhat favorably. At least a lot more favorably than they did a decade or so ago.

edit for V: i imagine he could, but there's probably not a lot of qualified hottie-interns applying for the jobs. And I doubt the pres has a lot of involvement in the hiring of interns. Even Bill.

As a formerly registered (R), I have a pretty favorable view of Clinton. He certainly wasn't great, IMO, but did some great things. I have a hard time believing he really stands fully behind Obama (just a party endorsement really; not a candidate endorsement; same thing on the (R) side of the aisle). Well this isn't a revelation, I just think it's sad that we are stuck in this rut of (D) vs (R) and decent politicians have to endorse worse politicians on both sides of the aisle.
