I'm proud of the fight, especially tired and hurt. Miami's too big and too fresh, we were a half step behind all game.

Playing ourselves out of the bye over those 5 or 6 close losses is the main reason we came up short today.

this team will be lucky to make it to the round of 32, much less sweet 16. We haven't beaten a good team all season. We beat Duke without Kelly and UNC before they went to the small lineup. This team we have is mediocre that feasted on a shitty ACC.

going deep in the tourney two years straight is tough for any program, but i think it's possible. hopefully, howell will be back to 100% and we will get some favorable matchups.

We played bad, but so did Miami. Miami left the door open, but we never walked through it. If Miami had of been on, it would have been nasty. Here's to hoping Miami embarrasses unc or md tomorrow.

I hate logic like that; it's just loser justification. Where do you draw the line? You'd rather lose in the quarters than lose to UNC in the finals? You'd rather lose in the first round than lose to UNC?

People have some crazy backwards logic on this board.

People want us to be good, but NEVER to be ranked because zomg the pressure and the jinxes. "we play better when we are unranked!" People would rather have us go out of a tournament early to avoid the chance of losing to a rival.

Anyone who would rather us sit at home and watch the finals versus going head to head with our rivals and possibly losing is insane.

the officiating was atrocious. Amazingly atrocious. That's not why State lost the game, as low energy and lack of focus caused that; but it surely did not help.

Yes the officiating did not cost us the game, but it severely limited our momentum in the 2nd half. That charge call against Brown that should have been an And 1 was a killer. Hate ACC refs.

Brown had a really bad game today and it was too much to overcome with the way Miami's guards shot. Not only did Brown shoot terrible but he had several turnovers on fast breaks which is unusual. I wonder what was wrong with his hand, I noticed it was wrapped the last few games.
