I was thinking about this the other day, I wish they could flex MNF games. You would think that in theory teams would want to do it since MNF has historically been the biggest stage of the week, but when you factor in all of the ancillary things that would need to be re-scheduled on the fly (stadium/team workers, fans being able to postpone their schedules for a day, conflicting stadium schedules, etc.) I can see why it hasnt been done.

plus, when NBC got the Sunday night game, and Monday night moved to cable, the league made SNF the premier game of the week, and MNF is just a shell of its former self (like the SNF game on ESPN used to be). Sunday night is the flagship, Monday night is "eh", and Thursday night is the toilet bowl.

but it's football, so people still flock to see Bills vs Browns and Texans vs Jaguars
