I think the big red flag is the defense. On offense we lost a ton, are implementing a new scheme, and the QB that the offense was set up for is hurt and we're on a backup. I can understand the offensive struggles.

But I don't think there's any excuse for getting carved up on D by a lower division foe who lost their top receiving threat early in the game. The defensive schemes are similar and while the secondary is young there is some experience and skill in the front seven.

Yeah, thank god Richmond had players go out with injuries left and right. Leveled the field. Can't imagine what the results would have been otherwise.

FTFY. Pittman is really the only LB who got PT last year. DJ Green hasnt played for a full year. Our back 7 is completely different from last year.

actually, Johnson started last year and Bussis got alot of PT, so our secondary is more experienced than our LB crew.

Or how about we go for two, and get stuffed. At the same time, Sade takes that to mean they don't believe in his leg, so it affects him mentally, and when we get in position for the GW FG, he shanks it terribly because he didn't get to practice on the previous extra point attempt

bottom line is we got a butt ugly win over an inferior opponent...but it was still a win

48 yard field goal with 30 seconds to go and you people are happy about this? In my mind we lost. Does anyone know whats up with receiving core? I always thought Underwood was pretty good, he doesn't seem to be on the field this year.

for whatever reason when we changed qbs the team is on 3 different pagss. there just isn't any chemistry. hopefully that will develop in the next 10 days as they have only had a week together.
