That's the best game I've seen out of Lewis. I just hope he left something in the tank for Thurs. If we play at this level we should easily be able to match up against SLU

Great TEAM effort.

TJ wasnt doing well in the first half.

Cat needs to stay clear of all of our players. Get him an IV on the plane and get him well. We will need him.

I think we can beat STL a lot like we did tonight. They have a crap schedule and really have lost their offense in the past 5 games.

I actually think we can hang with/beat Louisville. They are a 3 point shooting squad...sooner or later they have to have a poor shooting night.

What an upset that would be.

i just finished watching the game. all i have to say is WOW

what an amazing team effort by our guys. that was simply the best defense i've seen ALL SEASON.

Tyler lewis looked like a god at the point.

Ralston morphed into the weapon we deserve, but not the one we need right now (but we really do lol)

TJW, started slow, but i KNEW he would get his points and he did. what a prize piece he is.

vandy vandy vandy, showed the fuck up aggressive as hell, and he did his thing.

We CREATED turnovers. it wasn't so much xavier fumbling the ball but we pressured the shit outta them and they handed the ball over.

All around great game by our squad. this was probably the best game i've watched all season long. we look like serious contenders if we play like this against saint louis.

and the blocks... my god the blocks. so many

Vandenburg had a shocker. I'm not sure what game you were watching, but he got totally owned by shitstain and had multiple moments where he panicked with the ball.

I would say this is a game to forget by TBDV.

Vandy didn't have a garbage game. He got owned a little bit at first, but he picked it up and had some really good blocks, rebounds, and a couple important buckets (big time mid-range jumper).

Their dude was a monster with a little bit of skill. It's not like Vandy got owned by Joel James.

Vandy had a solid game for Vandy. 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 blocks. Hodor for their team was scoring on all of our guys, he was just really efficient on offense. Vandy also tipped a few other steals, made some decent passes, and had some big momentum plays(and-1 and then the dunk on the nice pass from Lewis).

I'd actually like to see Vandy take his jump shot more often, it's been on the last few games and his FT shooting has been really solid. I don't want him turning into Painter/Washington and just shooting it all the time, but it's a nice little weapon he could look to use a couple of times each game.

Went in person. Had a fun time live. There were some State fans but that crowd was all Xavier.

Warren and Lewis were big for us. Vandenberg meanwhile was targeted early and often by the Xavier center. He was just completely outplayed and didn't really do anything stats-wise til the last few minutes. I don't know what St. Louis' center is like but Xavier gave them a blueprint on how to play us inside. Thank God for Anya although Anya "running" back and forth down the floor was amusing.

Saw the 2nd half of Albany-Mt. St. Mary's as well. Mt. St. Mary's ended that game with 4 turnovers total, but were dominated on the boards and just shot 3s all game.

Vandy def got owned at first but he got pumped up and responded. I liked his attitude. Our team seems pretty stoic so we need some passionate people.

He got pumped up when we were up 10 points. By the last 5 minutes of the game Stainbrook was noticeably dead tired and then Vandenberg suddenly started playing better.

jordan didn't play a lot in the first half, but he definitely didn't get all his stats "in the last few minuts". He had two assists, a block and a rebound in the first 4 minutes of the game (although yeah, he was getting abused on defense)
