It's west. Knile is strictly a backup RB and kick returner.
Tate could get into the action but...for now it's West and his job to lose. 10/12/2015 1:19:06 PM |

I don't think West is gonna ball out considering Charles wasn't even getting involved in the offense much and he's actually a baller. I guess if you're in a deep league he's a must add. But there's a reason the Chiefs are bringing in guys like Trent Richardson and Ben Tate. 10/12/2015 10:39:07 PM |

^yeah i'm not expecting big things out of him necessarily, but my team (and RBs) are not good...alfred morris, gurley (good, but on bye this coming week), sproles, lesean mccoy. it is 0.5 PPR and we get return yards so sproles has some potential for big games, but he's hardly a must-start. 10/12/2015 10:59:12 PM |

Ridiculous.
I have both Lacy and Jamaal Charles in one league, so I also drafted James Starks and Knile Davis in the late rounds as those were the handcuffs at the time.
Middle of last week I almost picked up West, but because I had Steve Smith Sr. out with injury, Stevie Johnson questionable (later out), and Ryan Fitzpatrick on the bye I figured I would wait another week and then get him and drop Torrey Smith or Anquan Boldin.
One week to late. Now I'm going to have to throw all my FAAB at West and hope that none of the dicks who haven't spent any of there's don't scoop him up.
Worst case scenario I end up starting Lacy and Hyde at my RB spots and then cycle in and out a bunch of bad WRs depending on matchups.
Sigh. 10/12/2015 11:01:34 PM |

how in the world did you have Lacy AND Charles?? In draft leagues, those are both top 5/10 picks. In auction leagues, seems you would have spent all your money on them... 10/12/2015 11:27:57 PM |

^^Just start Lacy and Hyde and wait for somebody else to get injured. Not worth mortaging the farm on some scrub Andy Reid won't even let touch the ball more than 15 times bc omg brandon funston
unless you're in a 12+ team league
which you obviously aren't given that you have Charles and Lacy

It's a 12 team full point PPR league with max 2 keepers (kept 1 draft spot higher than drafted the year before). I drafted Lacy in the fifth round a few years back as a rookie, I've got him for a second rounder next year. I kept him for a 3rd, Demaryius Thomas for a 2nd (another guy I drafted before he had a breakout year) and took Charles at #3 overall.
But year, it's a funky league. Used to be 2 QB, this year we changed the 2nd QB spot to a super-flex position, so there just aren't guys you would want on the waiver wire. Brian Hoyer is currently the #1 waiver player available. So yeah, it's kind of messy.10/13/2015 3:58:40 AM |

Lewis isn't a standard Pat back. He is there virtually for every snap. He had something like 30 carries and 15 catches in week 3 and he was on the field for 70 snaps in week two. It's safe to say that he is one to watch, and will have no shortage or opportunities this season. 10/14/2015 12:01:08 AM |

lol. he's had single digit carries each of the last 3 weeks. he has 36 carries ON THE SEASON. not sure if you're trolling.
btw, 15 catches in one game would be like a top 10 performance. I think Brandon Marshall has the record of single game catches with like 20 or something. The way you're hyping him up, he's an All Pro, and not a fringe RB4.

There is no such thing as a featured back in Belicheat's offense. Do none of you remember Jonas Gray? 4 TDs and 200 yards last year against the Colts. 3 total carries the next 3 weeks.
Good luck with a Pats running back though

You should definitely lose one of the QBs unless you're in a 2QB league (which I'm sure you aren't otherwise you wouldn't have all 3 of those guys). I'd be hesitant to ditch Cam, especially for Olsen who has been a bit of a let down so far. I'm an Olsen owner and he hasn't been the target monster I was hoping for.
I do think he's an upgrade over Graham, just not a big enough upgrade to justify swapping him for Cam. See if the other owner would take Eli for Olsen.10/14/2015 1:11:04 AM |

^ Ended up offering him Eli instead and he took it. Maybe Eli blows up but I just felt better hanging on to Cam. Plus maybe now I can take advantage of Cam/Olsen combo for a few games. 10/14/2015 9:22:28 AM |

I have to drop a RB. League only allows us to roster 5, and I have 6 (with a currently ineligible guy in the IR slot)
Lamar Miller, Frank Gore, Arian Foster, Karlos Williams, Dion Lewis and Charcandrick West

Fair enough. I still don't trust a Pats RB. At points over the years, I've had Shane Vereen (the best fantasy Pats RB I've had, especially in PPR), Laurence Maroney, Corey Dillon, and Sammy Morris. All of them pretty much inconsistent because The Hoodie wouldn't every commit to the run game consistently.
Got Brady and Gronk this year. Never worried about coaching going away from the passing game. 10/15/2015 2:05:37 AM |
LudaChris All American 7946 Posts user info edit post |
^If he doesn't this week, then he won't all season. Historically they abandon the pass and run the entire game against the Colts. This is one of those weeks where if you have Blount, you might consider starting him.
Though Bill has ran it down their throat the last few seasons, could see him just throwing a curveball and throwing it the entire game just to let Tom rub it in. 10/15/2015 9:34:49 AM |

my other options are Alshon Jeffery (YAY HAMSTRINGS) and Willie Snead (who plays tonight). or i could troll the waiver wire for some crap. 10/15/2015 9:38:03 AM |

Denard is going against the 24th ranked run defense at home with only Gerhart to potentially steal carries.

OBJ is still not practicing.. I'd love to play him if he plays, but the games on Monday so if he doesn't I'd be screwed.. So do I pick up: Josh Huff, Riley Cooper, Miles Austin, or Geremy Davis? (even shit like Dwayne Harris is owned in my league) Or do I just sit him for Doug Baldwin or some other crap that might be out there and not have him even if he plays.. 10/16/2015 2:48:00 PM |

The only one of those I would roster would be Huff. And he isn't really any better of a play than Baldwin, but at least you'd have the option of playing OBJ.
Should I drop Thomas Rawls? I need a roster spot for a potential OBJ replacement as well. It's either him or David Johnson. 10/16/2015 8:30:26 PM |

as far as running backs -- I, too, own Stewart. has he gotten us anything more than ~5pts in a game yet? what makes you think he'll break out against Seattle in a hostile environment? bench his ass. anybody else would be a better choice 10/17/2015 12:10:44 PM |
