Yeah we're crying ourselves to sleep right now because Westbrook won the regular season MVP and it was 'too easy'. GTFO. It's going to be a long few years if they re-sign Iggy and I don't want to hear it from you salty 'fans' when you have to endure another California dynasty.

I think most 'real' GSW fans are a probably a little tired and bored with all the hate they've had to deal with from internet trolls like you people over the past three seasons and listening to the non-stop excuses for Lebron and Cleveland knobslobbers for not putting up much of a fight this year, but that's about it. Life as a Ws is actually pretty fucking great- especially if you can afford to live in the Bay Area. I get why everyone else is jealous of us, but it's not our fault we've got it so good
I would have posted about Draymond's DPOY win or pictures from the Dubs parade the other day, but none of you care about anything other than Westbrook, as evidenced by my troll post last night.
Looking forward to MAH DUBZ winning it all over again next year 6/27/2017 7:40:50 PM |

I think its bandwagon fans that get the most defensive because they're the ones that have to prove their fandom the most. They know that they just became "hardcore fans" once the team started doing well the past couple years. That would definitely explain UJustWait and a lot more recent GS fans. 6/27/2017 8:06:17 PM |

I'm not going to give GS a lot of hate considering they did a lot of building from the ground-up and I can't knock good management in a league that operates with a salary cap. They're not the Yankees or the Red Sox, who just bought their championships.
They're clearly the class of the league that meets historical metrics. Expectations are high. Anything but a repeat next year would be an absolute failure. 6/27/2017 10:24:49 PM |

I mean...I get what you're saying and don't completely disagree...but they basically "bought" the championship when they signed Durant. Without him, they would have actually had to work through a full series to win. Barring an injury, signing Durant guaranteed them the championship.
^^ And that is hilarious. That's basically UJustWait...except he's probably not on the lower level (or even at the game)...yet! Keep working bro!6/28/2017 7:21:41 AM |

Those "authentic fan" signs aren't new. They've been around forever. The A's have the same signs, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Giants and Sharks ones too. It's a CSN thing, so I guess you can laugh at Comcast on the internet if it makes you feel better about not having your own championship parade. 6/28/2017 8:25:48 AM |

Get out of here with the "buying a championship" crap. If you could just buy championships I believe the Yankees, Los Angeles Raiders, and Redskins would have many more titles.
You do realize that the Cavs actually have MORE cap space than the Warriors right? And both of those teams are significantly over the cap and paying a hefty luxury tax. Don't act like the Warriors aren't buying championships too when they have -$29 million in cap space. 6/28/2017 9:03:25 AM |

^^Yeah but GSW is top 5 in spending and they're about to spend a lot more.
I'm talking about 2017 salary cap numbers, but yeah, the Cavs have spent a ton, but this whole "GSW is using cheap talent" narrative went away last year when they picked up KD. They're going to be doing the same thing the Cavs did and paying a huge luxury tax the next few years to keep their talent.
I mean Gilbert has been paying out of the ass but he was a KD acquisition from having 2 rings in Cleveland..a city ravenous for sports success. Feels like Gilbert is about tired of spending the money though. 6/28/2017 10:04:39 AM |

chill bro. You are not giving warriors fans a good look. I am just disappointed that the people who made the warriors one of the most supported teams even when they sucked, are getting pushed out. People who supported Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Baron Davis, etc. Warriors were bad but they had one of the best fanbases, loudest arenas. Now they are moving out of Oakland and seats are hundreds if not thousands of dollars. 6/28/2017 1:36:35 PM |

CP3 would have been better off with the Spurs. The Clippers got hosed in that trade, but I don't think the Rockets are actually any better. They've got a great back court now, but it's not enough. Just ask the Blazers how's that's working for them.
And this "fan" stuff is tired. It's not surprising rich SV types are driving up ticket costs and ruining everything, but they've done that with housing, the dining scene, and everything else in that was nice/fun the Bay Area before. You can't blame working class people for not wanting to drop $300 for a pair of nosebleed tickets during the regular when rents for a studio are 2k a month in Oakland these days. If you want to see what "real" Oakland fans look like, go to a viewing party at Mad Oak or a dive bar like Merchant's. Or, they're like me and they stock up at BevMo or Costco or craft beer and watch the game at home or at a BBQ with friends. 6/29/2017 8:19:45 AM |

You. Are. Retarded.
On another note...I want to see Griffin go to OKC. It won't put them in title contention, but would make them a whole lot better. And maybe Blake balls out in front of his home crowd. They still need more shooters though.

Seems like the Clippers got a pretty great return for a player that was leaving anyway.
Also are you comparing Lillard/McCollum to Harden/Paul?? Hardens Rockets were better than the Blazers, now they will drop to an away playoff spot?6/29/2017 10:06:35 AM |

The Ws def overpaid to keep Iggy, but it doesn't matter. Crazy money is being thrown left and right to players who haven't achieved nearly as much as he has, so I think most Warriors fans are cool with it. Glad they kept him, but I bet he won't be around for three years. 7/2/2017 2:13:49 AM |

Warriors finally getting paid. Good for them. Not sure why anyone would want to give the owner a break. Make him pay that luxury tax. The value of the team has gone from $400M to $2.8B. Players are not getting anything near their value to the team. That is why durants taking less money talk is so foolish.

You got your wish, but the likelihood for yet another Ws/Cavs final is still pretty damn high. I feel bad for the Jazz since now whatever momentum they had for the future is gone, but even if Hayward stayed, it's not like they'd really have a shot to get past the first or second round.
