^^^they aren't really bringing up too many guys though. except for ramos, who always plays the whole field.

i dunno, maybe paraguay deserve some more defensive credit than i was willing to give them? spain has not changed their style of play this entire tournament.

yeah i cant tell if ramos got hacked down at all, either way he wasnt reaching that pass.

and to aimorris theyd have better chances than shooting from outside if they would get the ball out of the middle so much


but you have to give credit to germanys defense cause i dont think spain have anyone to handle at least the crossing aspect of playing it wide with their center backs

didn't really look like there was much of a foul on Ramos in the box and the ball was about past him anyway (not that that would not make it a PK, but it just seems like a moot point that there was nothing called there). in other words: good no-call imo.

^^they're not gonna change their gameplan. the switzerland and paraguay games demonstrated as much. they're gonna keep making tight passes up the middle and look for Villa or settle for outside shots from their midfielders. its apparent that slow and steady wins the race, for spain

I dunno, seems to me they're trying that through Ramos and Pedro, and Capdevila... who are just fucking up with it by dribbling or a shitty cross
