Cat is definitely better, Turner is more productive than last year, Anya and Washington are better. I for one didn't expect Dez to have a breakout juco transfer senior season.

I dunno how much of Anya's play is his conditioning. But it seems a little unrealistic to think his skill set is 100% the exact same as last year, and that he's learned absolutely nothing, but simply takes a little longer to get tired this year.

i feel like anya regressed at the start of the year in that he went from 80% padding stats with blocks to 100% padding his stats with blocks but now the coaching staff has him down to 70/30 so I guess there's some progression there, but it took most of the season and it's a game to game struggle where he still gets inconsistent play time (and this is an issue because our defense seems to rely on him bailing out turner giving up wide open lay ups. it seems to me that unlike kyle washington, who has all his big games in blowout losses, all of beejay's big games are in impressive wins so it'd be nice to have him on the floor more often).

compare that to cat who had the proverbial light go on or senior year cj williams who was good from the start when he started playing for a real coach

(This was often with more than one Top10 recruit. And these are just their losses to unranked opponents. You can do this "analysis" with almost any team if you look at several consecutive years. Even the "best" coaches.)

^^ meh, if he goes he goes. Not a huge loss if he does as he obviously isn't fitting in well with the game plan. I thought he would fit in the high post offense, but part of the high post offense is being willing to pass and we have recently started going away from the HP anyway. Next year I expect Abu to turn into a big that can find his own shot at times and he'll be supplemented with Anya and Freeman. Plus if he does go, we open up a scholarship, and maybe bring in another sharpshooting transfer

I'd hate to see him ago, especially since none of our big men have really stepped-up yet (although I think/hope that abu, anya and freeman will continue to get better), and we yet to have any commitmens for next year. As of now, including Washington, we only have 9 of our 13 scholarships filled for next year, so we don't really need need any more open scholarships.
