16 mile run @ Umstead Park.

I followed it up by gorging on a banana nut muffin and a bagel with cream cheese. Now it's nap time.

Lifted today and got a massage. Ran 3 yesterday. Pretty easy weekend, hopefully I don't pay for it on the scales too much.

"^you're not going to find anything that's accurate enough to make a difference. I wouldn't waste money on a scale with a BF% feature.

You'd be better off buying a regular scale and investing in one of these (off by maybe 3-5%, but better than a scale)

Swam for an hour"

What makes the scale with bf% feature built inherently worse than the link you offered? As best I can tell, they both pass current through you to try and determine the percentage.

Would something like this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018PA3OE/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

Be better? I have not studied these things, buy I'm guessing the knock on a scale with bf% built in is that it is passing current through your legs up toward your waste and might not be accurately capturing your torso?

anyone want to buy my old HR monitor? $15...strap has a broken clasp but it still works fine..Omron HRC-1000 Its missing a clasp that helps keep it tight, it'll stay on as long as you're not doing something too intense...it slips down when I do any upper body lifts or from the impacts of jogging. On a bike/cardio machine/lower body lifts though, it is just fine

Random day for Quinn & I...broke some kids ankle playing basketball, set some 1RM PRs, splashed in the pool

dealing with the same, working around it as much as possible.

Today is CST heavy, which consists of

3x5 Bar Bench
3x5 Dumb Bench
3x5 Hammer Strength
3x5 Lat/Shoulder Press
3x5 Military Press
3x5 Tricep Pulldowns
3x5 Standing Cable Flies
3x5 Tricep Extensions

and 20-25 minutes of Cardio. This is the start of week 4. Good gains in strength, good gains in weightloss. pretty satisfied. Working out 4 days a week (M-T, TH-F) doing CST Heavy, BBL Light, CST light, BBL heavy. Gives Wednesdays and Weekends off. It works.

I, too, strained my back muscles...today. Cut my workout early, plus not having a workout buddy (^^ ) and the gym being crowded. Also felt lazy

3x10 40lb weighted dips
1x10 135, 1x10 185, 2x7 205, 1x10 185, 1x10 135 Bench Press
-Somewhere in there lower back started hurting
3x10 Chest Flies, 170-210
3x10 Tricep pushdown (rope)

then rolled out

4x9 pull ups (up from 8 last week )
4x12 one hand pull downs
4x12 one hand seated machine rows
4x12 wide grip pull downs

1x12 then 1x8 close grip EZ bar curls, but then my right elbow hurt like hell, so I did low weight-higher reps for biceps
3x15 machine curls
3x15 cable curls
3x15 one hand preacher curls

On top of that I had to poop before working out, but decided to hold it so I would get a little extra resistance on pullups.
