Being that its the final players are playing with the idea that a ref isnt gonna throw someone out of the finals unless its something crazy like Zidane headbutt. I think the shot to the chest was an example of that. I think the ref was handing out the yellows in hopes he would scare people into playing a little less reckless, but its gonna take a lot to get the yellow-red

if he had gone down from puyol's contact, he would have gotten a penalty just outside the box, and puyol a yellow (and almost a deserved red). but he had a chance on goal, so he stayed on his feet instead of diving like he usually does. almost poetic justice, really.
