i slept through a tornado last night

the freight train noise and the sound of the roof next door crashing into the parking lot woke me up

but i went back to sleep... i was staying in a hotel and realized what happened this morning. it freaked me out all morning

I think I got happy too fast. I wasn't ready to me happy. I misread my mania stage as the pills working and I got in a lot of trouble for it. But now I know where I am. I now realize it takes more than three weeks to level out. I now know that I have a long hard road ahead of me. But I know that I will travel down this road with the people who love me most.
I know that baby steps are what you start with. Not grown up running steps to take.

Step back take a deep breath in and go back to those baby steps
