thats how i see it with all sports years. now and then there is a big improvement, but for the most part it is just slight tweaks. good if you are a big fan, but i usually only buy 1 particular sports game per console.

I'll buy a new sports game when there are significant changes in the sport - like the addition of BC, Miami, and the ACC conference championship bowl.

Tiger really doesn't offer anything new year after year though. They really only add about 2 courses per year, the rest are repeats, and from what I hear the graphics are about the same as last year's incarnation.

well after read through 20 pages on the cheapassgamer forum, looks like they say you should be able to buy 2 and get 1 360 game free and as long as you dont open one of them and have the receipt, you can EXCHANGE it for another game within 45 days, but not RETURN it for a refund.

oblivion is easily the best bang for your buck if you dont have it on pc. easily less than $1 per hour of gameplay.

If you have 3 or 4 friends who you can play fighting games with, Dead or Alive 4 is simple, gorgeous, and fun. I wouldn't pick it if you play alone all the time though.

sums it up. in the end it is better than buying games and selling them back (even on ebay).

pros:
-great selection (blockbuster never has shit in when i go, plus they have a smaller amount)
-can rent gameboy/psp games when some bbusters dont seem to
-dont have to go out to get games
-quick return helps reduce turnaround time
-games are super cheap with the "keep it" option (like $48 on launch day)
-earn money towards used games after 3 months
-cheaper than buying games and selling them back, can be better than bbuster if you rent a lot

cons:
-you dont really get to pick what you get at what time. i really want enchanted arms right now, but havent been able to get it. other games on my list are "ok," but arent really what im in the mood for right now
-only ship from CA so if your PO doesnt scan you might have to wait up to 7-8 shipping days to get a new game
-quick return only happens now and then, ive only gotten it about half the time
-if you are unlucky and shit gets lost/delayed in the mail you end up with huge turnaround times (cant report until a week after you sent it)


I enjoyed the service, but it is really frustrating when games get lost and you end up with multiple titles you didnt really want in a row.
