it was surprising to anybody who only followed the talking heads. the texans had made it very clear that they were not set on drafting only bush. even some of the analysts insisted that this was not as obvious as many were making it out to be. mario was tops on 6 different teams' draft boards. this isnt so much boasting as it is getting upset with this incredible sensationalism of the media and the love affair with bush.

sportscenter is so full of shit. its ran by a bunch of bias unc grads anyway and after tonight...im done

on any draft day the first or at least second story is always the first pick in the draft but not tonight..nope they didnt even do a segment on mario at all (in the first 30 minutes at least cuz i cut it off) sc comes on showing quick glimpes of all the big stories. several draftees were in that but no mario.

they start with a "with the 2nd pick in the draft the new orleans saints select regggie bush"

ok so bush was the best player in the draft so they said him first. NO they go on to do segments on the 3rd 4th and 5th picks...still no Mario.(then they go to the draft crew who sums up the whole draft but that wasnt really sc) after the break they do ANOTHER segment on bush

how can a first pick get no attention.
