seems like they were rushing to end the terrorist/nuke plot, this season seems kinda sloppy, jumping around a lot with lots of subplots that don't do much. For instance what ever happened to the Jack's bad dad or old stabbed ex-president plots....

Ending this whole stupid bomb shit now and saving the last few hours for some serious Jack Bauer ass kicking action was, quite possibly the only thing they could have done to save this miserable excuse of a season. I was seriously considering not watching the rest of this season before last night's episode, but now that they've hit the "reset button" I feel almost as excited about next week as I do at the start of a season. This whole season gets a do-over, and I'm hopeful that it won't suck nearly as much as the first 2/3rds.

that is, assuming she really is in China. Did they say that explicitly? Maybe it's possible they're actually in the US, which would be convenient. somewhere else in LA, no less

The last 5 mintues were awesome and vintage jack bauer. He's back to the way he was before being abducted to China. Now the Chinese are threatening him again by holding his girlfriend? Yea, Jack is gonna go apeshit on the Chinese. And I think Jack's dad is still in play somewhere. He'll reveal to Audrey that Jack is really the father of that blonde kid (Jack and his sister in law did have a thing for each other and that kid does look like a male version of Kim Bauer) which will turn Audrey against Jack and Jack will end up killing her to end the season. It's gotta be something drastic if it's gonna top nuclear attacks.
