Amato, this is your coaching life:

A)you havent finished better than 4th in the ACC ever.....dead last in the Atlantic Division this year
B)you've lost more ACC home games than I can count...if not for Roof and Bunting, you would probably lead that category the past couple of years
C)you cant beat Carolina even when you have the better talent.....Bunting practically pwns you and even he is getting fired at the end of the season
D)you can't coach your team to improve at any facet of the game.....penalties, turnovers, discipline.... all that has been a problem for years now and nothing has been fixed. The team beats itself.
E)there's no way a coach with the recruiting classes you have had and the nfl talent you have put on showcase on Sundays should have a team that can't compete at a high level EVERY GAME.

F)you should step down if you knew what was best for the university. it's very obvious you can't get the job done. so go out respectfully. step down.

I was a bit torn in this game. Obviously, I wanted State to win. However, one of GT's coaches (Jeep Hunter) graduated from my high school, and was also an associate coach (RBs & TEs) for a short time while I was on the football team, while also working under Tommy West in Clemson (and later in Memphis). He also coached D'Angelo Williams at Memphis as their RB coach. Maybe he can coach us next year.

he was caught offguard by our offense because we passed the ball 90% of the time instead of running.. didn't mean he was impressed with it.. we usually run the ball 70% of the time..

and our D stepped up tonight.. until the 4th quarter
