^^yeah, my health insurance has covered the bulk of the medical bills. the guy's auto insurance pays anything remaining that my health coverage doesn't. plus any other related expenses like deductibles, co pays, lost wages, etc. all of which has been a HUGE pain. they try to make everything as confusing as possible and are out to screw you at every chance they get. as if dealing with all the physical/mental issues of recovery isn't enough, you have to fight all those assholes tooth and nail constantly also.

lol, two screws in the plate actually. still four left anchoring it, though.

hard to believe it's been a year since i've updated this. this thread is also about 3.5 years old!

things have actually been pretty good since the last update. no more crutches, walking fairly normal, etc. my biggest battles now are chronic pain and a small amount of lingering infection that just won't go away. still a few hairline fractures in spots, but for the most part it's fully healed. still won't be running any marathons or anything anytime soon, but i hated running anyway.
