Just got back this weekend and saw the bcu score.

Just wanted to say that when I heard this week for them being hyped as 'the biggest week in their program history' I knew right then they would go winless. Like I always say it's a time tested certainty that BCU will choke in every big game. Different league, different players, same results.

teams outside the ACC are not accustomed to Duke's lockdown D, and St. Johns poses zero matchup problems defensively for Duke, this usually adds up to jackin up a lot of contested 3's. Add in the fact that St. Johns is basically a street ball team and has been for the last ten seasons and that's disaster for them in an organized game. 10 points at halftime for division one athletes is unaccpetable.

Agreed. Though Duke has been far more succesful in the ACC than outside of it the last decade or so... If a very athletic team (see Marquette this year or LSU last year for instance) plays Duke OOC they can do well because of how much Duke overpursues the ball. A team like SJU had no chance whatsoever going in. I think they are actually going to make the Big East tourney for once but they have been somewhat of a disappointment this year from where they were picked to finish..

The only reason LSU won last year was because of neutral ref's in the NCAA's. If any crew in teh ACC had been calling the game LSU's entire front line would have been out in the first half as physical as they play
