Hah, they had more of a chance of getting into the NCAA than we did! Just because your n00b ass hasn't heard of them doesn't mean they didn't have a 23-8 record before tonight. Our team beating them's got me in beering mood!

Yes, it's a bitter sweet win. We won our first round game in the NIT. Bad thing is that it was a win in the NIT.

Jimmy Dykes giving us props. Talking about how impressive it was. The fact that we played 5 games in 6 days. How we should be even better with some days rest and fresh legs under us. Also said we were playing some great half-court basketball. Brad Nessler said his mother asked him how often Coach Lowe had to have his red coat cleaned. Then said that Lowe wore a black jacket, and that the red coat must be only for special ACC games.

for what its worth, the NIT has some really good teams this year

since the NCAA bought it, they're trying to make it into a decent tournament. it will never be anything more than a losers tournament, but they're trying. i'd rather be in the NCAAs too, but this is great considering how bad our team was supposed to be

^^Winning in the NIT is a great great thing for us.

It allows us more practices.

At least, I believe the NCAA rules on postseason tournaments are the same as football...as in if your season is over you can't practice, but tournament teams can

That can go a long way for Horner, Ben, Brandon, etc.

and who cares what everyone else thinks

The crappy OSU announcer started blabbering about how he "didn't see the game, but Drexel must have come out feeling let down, from getting left out of the tournament they deserved"

I wouldn't have been surprised, and I didn't think we'd be one iota as good as we are.

Didn't we lose 4 of our top 5 starters? This team has exceeded expectations 150%. If Atsur was healthy, we could have possibly been a NCAA team

Anyone notice that Michael Jordan was wearing a red jacket in his press conference today? Maybe he's taking a page from Sidney's book on stylin' and profilin'.
