I took the key from a Slave that IO captured at Tenpenny Tower, so do I get a suite with that? I have not went back to check it out yet after I left, but I will this evening when I play it. Paradise Falls is the darkest place in the game that I have experienced yet.

so once its added you can instantly sell or drop it?

and actually, how do you drop something? I can only do it when I am picking up something else (click on the item in my inventory on the left and it goes over to the right) but is there a way to just drop it?

Yeah it takes effect right then and there, just look at your stats or skills next time, but why would you sell it or drop it? You drop items by pressing X when they are highlighted. It tells you right there on the right-hand side of the Pip Boy 3000.

The bobbleheads, along with ammon and meds, are weightless

Theres no point to ever remove them from your person unless you're putting them on that cool stand

Right click drops things on PC.

Don't know about consoles.

Is there some way to signal people into talking? I keep having to kill all the people i meet, even named characters because i have no charm. I'm sure that excuse would hold up in court.

Haha wtf. I don't know what to tell you on that. Did you give Charisma some points, and speech points as well? I still did not know this was possible, if you are explaining it correctly.

wow. ok I suck at this game...

how do you holster your weapon (on a PC)?

does having your gun out affect conversations?

what does sleep actually do? restore damage? does "waiting" do the same thing or does it have to be a bed?

They should create an expansion pack that sends you on quests to become the President of the Wasteland, and in the Fallout 4 you have quests to rebuild the city, then in Fallout 5 you help rebuild the nation. In short I wish this game would never end.

for those of you that have "completed" the game, have you gotten 100% complete?

I have not played, and have no idea how it's scored, but I mean as in Oblivion, there are tons of little side quests you can do, or side story lines (brotherhood, etc) to find. Are those easy to find and complete?

Of course I mean for those that have skipped the "final" quest or whatever so that the game doesn't end yet.

I don't think its possible to do 100% in this game, for example you blow up Megaton or you don't, and that last for the entire playthrough, so if you do one you can do the other, unless you go back to a save just to get the achievement then revert back to your last save and continue the game where you left off.

played a few hours yesterday, so much fun. found tenpenny tower and gonna go kill some ghouls i also went through a bandit hideout and found a deeper cave of those fuckin crazy Yu Gi Oh guys or whatever they're called I have yet to go in there since they tear my ass up w/o unloading tons of ammo on them (i'm a hoarder).

i'm on the quest now for Vault 112. It keeps pointing to the waste facility where you pick up the recordings. i went all throughout there and can't do a lot of things like activate switches and turn certain things on. it says "certain chemicals can be used here" in that main operating room but i can't figure it out.

should i just go to vault 112 w/o doing that? it still says in my quest log to go to vault 112, but the recordings part is still not marked as complete.

if you help the ghouls move into tenpenny tower instead of killing them, you get a pretty freaking sweet reward (and by move in i don't mean overrun the thing and kill everyone)

but it might require a high speech (at lvl 19 i'm maxed on speech, sneak, science, and lockpick)

the only option i had (even though i have high speech) was to kill them? what about if i go there and just talk to the ghouls instead of kill them? is that possible?

Are you talking about Roy and them, or the Ferals?

Ferals always attack, doesn't matter how much speech you have. They are basically animals.

I think if you talk to Roy and his wife they will give you the option to take a different approach. I can't say for sure though since I advised his wife to start running.

So I guess I'll never have a chance to do that quest

Yea if you do help roy out, be sure you can find the bodies of both shop owners and the guy with the safe upstairs. I had to reload a couple of times because I couldn't find one of the bodies (different one each time).

You can also save/reload right before opening the shop inventories and get different stuff I think. After all 3 safes and the 2 inventories you can get around 1,000 caps or more plus all kinds of other cool stuff.

what i'm talking about is the option you get talking to roy that allows you to try and work things out with tenpenny before they attack

basically, get the quest at the towers
go through the underground to find roy
go back to the towers and ask tenpenny if he'd let the ghouls move in if you can convince people
he gives you a list of names of people to talk to
talk to these people and (here's the speech check) tell them that ghouls are moving in
once all have been told, go back to tenpenny and tell him
he gives the ok for them to move in
go tell roy and finish quest

made it into rivet city last night and am currently researching the android.

how many weapons do you guys typically carry? i've been carrying around like a dozen, but generally only find myself using the hunting rifle, a shotgun, and the fat man when attacked by a group.
