i used to use bama and miss st when i first started ncaa 98...started using nc state when 01 or 02 came out for the ps2 and have been switching between bama and state ever since(with the occassional cupcake ive built up to 6 stars)

I went 11-1 with a trip to the Orange Bowl in the first year of the NCSU dynasty. Lost to BC the second week. ACC champs. I got the Heisman, Doak Walker, and Maxwell awards with Andre Brown. I got like three five-star recruits during the season (two guards and a tight end). I have a rematch with Louisville, so I'll probably play that sometime soon. Get some more achievements.

I think the game is markedly harder than in years past. Especially passing and recruiting seems a little beefed up as well.

Does difficulty setting even affect recruiting?

Varsity, but I'm upping the difficulty after the first year. I had to learn the controls since I never really played NCAA on the 360. I was always playing on PS2.

So I can recruit skill positions, it's the OL/DL that I just cannot get interested in NC State, haha.

My first recruiting class included 6 5-stars and 4 4-stars with a bunch of 3-stars.
5-Stars included:
#1 overall ATH(86 overall at WR, but I stuck him 82 overall at FS)
WR, QB(89 speed), RB, TE(his name is Michael Jackson, haha), and OLB

4-Stars included:
4 4-Star CB's, haha.

Maybe this next season I can get some interest from some OL and DL.

Why'd they take out the pregame show with Corso putting on the mascot hat and stuff. I liked that bit... Also, no refs this year? I liked that too!

Seems like every year they take some stuff out, put some new stuff in...

Why not just improve on it and add new stuff without sacrificing the old?

You should want to play asshats that go for it on 4th down anyways. It will increase your win percentage in the long run. (that is unless you suck)

^on 360, you press A to pick a play

but if you hold down A on a play, lets say an HB Counter, and then move to another play, say a Slants play, when you let go of A on the Slants play it will call the HB Counter but your opponent will see the Slants play

Really started getting into dynasty mode this week. I created 3 five star recruits my first year: Awesome Sauce(CB), Fat Sauce(G), and Gay Sauce(K) - but I overestimated my recruiting powers and was unable to land any of Raleigh's mighty Sauce brothers

Mike Golder Jr(LT #75) makes an excellent TE btw.. unless of course you want to throw him the ball or something

that shitty 335 that WVU runs is terrible, I just choose the 4-3 off the controller layout and i have seen a dramatic improvement

although Steve Slaton keeps fumbling the damn ball now over nothing, its stupid.

The two free safetys are Justin Byars and Dominique Ellis, I forget which is which number, but Byars is the faster one, 90 speed I think

The Strong Safety is Jimmaul Simmons

The linebacker is Avery Vogt

The DT is Kyle Linney IIRC
