damn straight. especially after what we saw outta this team for the first half of the season.
after our first win (Wofford) I projected us to go 5-7, optimistically...never woulda thought we would have a shot to have a BETTER record than that.

great win for the pack today!
Larry Coker was pretty below average calling the game... but better than some others I could name ..(ahem, Brent Musberger) 11/3/2007 7:22:16 PM |

I will never say another word about how bad NCSU fans are at our football games. Those Miami fans blew ours away.
I tailgated under an overpass, had to cross a drawbridge to get to the game, and had chickens running around our tailgate lot. I'll be happy to be back at Carter Finley this weekend. 11/4/2007 11:15:56 PM |

Did anyone see the Miami fan with the Orangle Bowl tatoo taking up the entire front of his torso? Wow! 11/4/2007 11:20:11 PM |

Thats why YOU NEVER GO on that side of the Miami River. And you also chose to park in the cheap lot under the 836 overpass. I park there sometimes too.
I was in the student/alumni lot and was treated with a lot of respect. Moreso than I have seen other ACC teams treat visiting fans. In fact, I was shocked at how nice we were treated despite the fact we were all wearing red and cheering hard for NC State.11/5/2007 12:40:57 AM |

my observations from the game.
parking was absolutely crazy...some dudes were asking $50 to park in their yard. luckily we found a business lot that was guarded by a security guard for $20.
the stadium was old but interesting. i couldn't believe all the ramps and how steep they were. the slope was like a 1' drop over 3'. i felt bad for some of the elderly folk who had trouble walking down them.
did anyone else that was there notice that at the beginning of the second quarter, a ton of inner city people showed up? i swear they must have opened the gates and let anyone and everyone in.
being able to buy beer in the stadium was super nice. i was thinking how much money nc state would make if they sold beer at carter-finley.
both offenses were terrible, and we couldn't stop the run to save our lives. but as said previously...a win is a win.
after the game we had dinner at rosinellas in lincoln road mall....a nice italian victory meal i must say. 11/5/2007 8:25:16 AM |

i'm not sure what the exact rules are, but beer is sold at the OB because it's a city-owned stadium 11/5/2007 12:40:33 PM |

hah, it starts with a guy bitching about getting snitched on for trying to take something out of the OB. That thread is some funny shit.
Quote : | "I was the fan in the West Endzone on Saturday wearing the cammo fatigues and I wanted to thank my fellow UM fans for SNITCHING on me because I had a SOUVENIR I was going to take with me at the conclusion of the game. Really thank you very much, I HATE YOU FOREVER! I literally had to run out of the OB because you sicked security on me, I couldn't leave on my own terms. I had to leave on some RATS terms. How much did the City of Miami or the University of Miami pay you to be a WHISTLEBLOWER! Die hards I literally cried in a drunken rage later on that night in my bedroom (my girlfriend had never seen me go through something like that and it was because I care so much about Miami tradition and history) because I could not leave on my own terms and enjoy the night and the OB. I hope you rats and snitches die horrible deaths (YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT!) I pray I never see these characters again..." |
