So when Plax said Patriots would score only 17pts, Brady laughed. Looks like Brady could have used 17 pts tonight. Irony is a bitch.

I blame the subprime mortgages on the Pats loss.

today is always a depressing day for me, it is the longest possible amount of time until football season starts again.

So how about all those bitches that said this would be the most boring Super Bowl ever? Hot damn the defense ate Brady alive!

I remember they played like 5 arcade fire songs for the fade aways to commercial on monday night football once last year.

Seems like they always have a highlighted band every monday.

It was a pretty boring game until the last quarter - glad I stuck around though. Burress now has 2 rings in 3 years, remembering his ring with the Steelers. Nice.

anybody recall late in the 3rd quarter, i think around the 2:12 mark, the giants had just punted and pinned the pats back to their own 10 yard line, i believe...well one of the plays of that drive, brady drops back into the endzone, gets pressured and hit as he throws...he is in the pocket, the ball isnt thrown out of bounds, and its thrown in the general vicinity of 2 giants defenders, with no patriots players within 10 yards..how come that wasnt intentional grounding and therefore an automatic safety since it happened in the endzone? he was in the pocket, and he didnt throw within 10 yards of a patriots receiver...anybody remember this play?

i do remember. i would have to assume it was not deemed intentional, since it was a result of him being hit.

eh, i guess...i just figured the only reason he threw it (away) was because he anticipated being hit...when i saw that play i was pretty sure i had seen it happen other times where the refs did call grounding and a safety

not that big of a deal since the giants won, but i thought it was a questionable play at best
