Fans of pelican, explosions in the sky, isis, yadda yadda yadda will probably enjoy it. They're an NC band I enjoy supporting. The song the video is for is one of their slower moving and not very heavy songs but I still enjoy it.

agreed.

inc another 4 hour drive to band practice this weekend. its become routine about 2-3 weeks a month now as we work on the current album.

The drive sucks, but I am used to it now so it goes by decently fast I suppose. But I have had more fun writing this album than I remember having in a long time so its all been worth it. I wish we had written more in college sometimes than just playing shows but oh well. We aren't even promoting ourselves anymore until we can start pushing songs that werent written like 4 years ago I still like playing them live for what they are, but they just aren't us heh

Just writing, and its a little slow since its going to be a full length and we have the distance issues as I stated.

Right now honestly it looks like June of '09 since our drummer is in college still and our vocalist is a teacher so they cant just take 2-3 weeks off during the schoolyear to be in the studio, or even a week for their parts really. We have about 30 minutes of brand new material at the moment and are hoping for another 20 minutes or so to hopefully be written by January, which leaves the spring for the rest of the band to learn/write their parts and get tight enough/refine the songs to record.

But at this point (4 years after the last album was written) whats another 6 months past our initial december recording goal?
