I thought about this briefly, but chalked it up to 3 years having lapsed and people not remembering or caring anymore. Also, it's not an Oceanic flight, it's a relatively obscure Indian airline where the news and fame of the Oceanic 6 was probably minimal.

- One question I have is, did the oceanic six get sent back in time in that flash? I guess I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how the island people are in the 1970s and the oceanic 6 people got sent back from today to the 70s.

- Also, what happened to Rose and the rest of the original losties camp?

I feel like I should know this stuff already, but forgot it at some point between last season and this one

So where are the representatives of all the others (Michael, Walt, Jin, tail section of the plane, etc)? There should have been a dog (Vincent) on the plane.

What or who does Ben represent; he wasn't on the original flight? Was there someone on the original flight that was busted up like Ben and he had to re-create that?

interesting things from the preview for next week's episode: it looks like Locke has a conversation with Witmore, where Witmore tells him hes important to the island. Also who is the guy kneeling when Locke is about to hang himself (probably Ben, but i hope its someone else, what if it was the other arab guy from the plane)

I'm sure they'll explain it, and I know that other stranger things have happened on the show, it just seems like they conveniently threw this wrinkle in the story

So every time they have time shifted, they have remained at their same location in the island, just at a different time (obviously).

When the Oceanic 6 timeshifted, how come they weren't falling through the air from where they would be if they were on the plane? And how come they were spread out over the island rather than just a few feet away? Obviously something is fishy with how they got to the island from the plane. I think Mikhail may be involved.

it's pretty obvious that when locke left, the timeshifts stopped, and they just so happened to get stuck right before the dharma initiative started building all of the stations (the well disappearing is the last we've seen, and now they've introduced themselves into the dharma society)
